What's in a name
Our children's names are really important to me. We knew our boy and girl names before we decided to even start trying when we got pregnant with Libby. Now that our girl's name (Elizabeth) is taken, we have to come up with a new one. I have to admit I am struggling with this. I have lots of names I like but none are just standing out as the one. Jim is convinced the baby is a boy anyways so we won't have to worry about a girl's name but I want to have options ready in case it is a girl (which lets face it, we have a 50/50 shot =) ). So any opinions? We want something really classic and not horribly long since, lets face it, our last name is a doozy! These are the ones I am thinking about so far:

I've always liked Abby. Abigail is a bit too formal for my tastes.
And I must always loved Kelly (because of my Twin Sister)
Abby!
Or, as a dark horse nomination, Zuzu.
My favorite is Emily. I also love any Ann related name. My nieces are Anna, Emma, and Maggie but i can live with the confusion if you go with any of those. :) You really can't go wrong! Your baby will be wonderful no matter what the name!
Put me down for Cassandra. Sounds regal when full, but fun as just Cassie.
Until I was 11 and my guru gave me a new name. I was Emily. I was bookish and shy, terrible at sports, and scared of everyone. After I became Sonia I became markedly better at sports, more outgoing, and less afraid of the world...
I'm not saying it's the name, but I don't think it helped. I'm a big fan of names with hard consonants in them personally. Take from that what you will. Good luck!
These are all classics, you can't really go wrong. I favor 'Anna,' because it's my sister's name.
Abby! /Amy From Sweden.
